We are working with a client in East London looking to recruit 2 newly qualified Physician Associates to work in an exciting new practice based role leading to a role working across multiple practices supporting the Primary care network. 
About the employer:
The group of GP practices have joined together to help one another provide the best possible care for their patients. 

Their primary role is the delivery of highest quality, bespoke healthcare In and Out of Hours appointments and to operate a local walk in the centres based East London. 

They provide a wide range of Primary Medical Services under both NHS and independent arrangement, all of which apply evidence-based medical standards as established by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.

About the role:

As a newly qualified Physician Associate, you will be offered a supported preceptorship programme with an assigned GP supervisor supported bay an experienced Physician Associate. The programme will be across one year with weekly tutorials and quarterly assessments of learning. 
Eventually, you will responsible for the provision of a clinical service, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to patients.You will be required to work autonomously in the practice, providing a range of services such as assessment, diagnosis, treatment, telephone triage, clinical decision-making and referring patients appropriately, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure when required.
You will deliver a high standard of patient care with in depth theoretical knowledge and evidence-based practice working under the supervision of a GP and to manage a clinical caseload and deal with presenting patient’s needs in a primary care setting. Patient care will delivered face to face, by telephone and remote services as well as participation in the home visiting, duty and triage rotas. 
You will also be learning alongside other newly qualified Physician Associate’s with a supportive GP with additional support and education from an experienced Physician Associate.

You will be a newly qualified Physician Associate with a strong commitment to want to work in general practice. (A role for an experienced Physician Associate’s is also available – see separate advert). You will motivated by delivering high quality patient care and see team work as a part of your DNA. You will hungry to learn and commit to education and supervision from a GP Supervisor and experienced Physician Associate.
You may be interested in developing a sub-speciality interest (post preceptorship) within general practice which the practice group will support and encourage. You will be keen to develop your professional network to encourage best practice and increase awareness of new developments connected to Physician Associates.  
The essentials:
You will have passed your MSc or PG Dip and eligible for the Physician Associate national exam.
You will be on or eligible for the PAMVR
You will have a UK Right to Work
